What you should know about seersucker
First, some history. The word seersucker originates from the Persian word "shir o shekar", meaning "milk and sugar". Why? Because it has alternating smooth and textured stripes, but both are sweet. That's real. Seersucker's distinctive puckered texture is ahciedved through a unique weaving process, creating a fabric that doesn't cling to the skin.
