Bo Nix and Mizzen+Main

Posted

If you ask Bo Nix what success looks like, he won’t talk about stats or trophies. He’ll talk about impact. About the people around him. About making someone smile every day.

And when you spend just a few minutes listening to Bo talk with his brothers Caleb and Tez Johnson and his dad Patrick, one thing becomes clear: Bo is built on more than football. He’s built on a relentless drive to be better—on and off the field.

That’s what makes Bo Nix such a natural fit for Mizzen+Main.

When we partnered with Bo, it wasn’t just because he’s one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the league—it’s because he shares the values we stand for: performance, presence, and a commitment to getting the best out of himself day in and day out.

Bo works hard. He leads by example. And he’s got a quiet confidence that shows up both in how he wears a perfect-fitting button down dress shirt and how he handles the pressure on Sunday mornings in the fall.

In a recent roundtable conversation with his family, Bo opened up about his journey, his style, and why comfort and simplicity matter to him—especially when it comes to what he wears.

“I want my clothes to be simple and clean but have the look of someone who knows what he’s doing style-wise,” he said when asked about why he loves Mizzen+Main. “It’s all classic and things that will never go out of fashion.”

That’s Bo in a nutshell. Understated, but intentional. Casual, but sharp. The kind of guy who’s not chasing trends—he’s just showing up as himself.

For Bo, fashion isn’t about flash. It’s about mindset. As he put it: “You look good, you feel good, you play good.” And he’s not alone in that belief. The whole conversation with his family was full of jokes and memories—like trying to make oversized JV jerseys work in middle school, or arguing over spikeball strategy in the backyard—but it was always clear how much mutual respect runs between them.

The roundtable was filled with laughter, life lessons, and a real sense of unity—even when brothers disagreed over who is most fashionable (Tez made a strong case for himself, for the record.)

But it’s Bo’s perspective that stood out most. On his career. On his faith. On what matters.

“There’s a lot more to life than football,” he said. “I tell y’all all the time—if football’s done, I’ll be done tomorrow. I don’t need it. I love the game. I’ll play as long as possible. But I don’t need it. I can go be just Bo.”

That kind of clarity—about identity, about purpose, about what actually lasts—is rare. And it’s exactly what makes Bo Nix the kind of person we want representing Mizzen+Main.

We’re proud to be part of Bo’s next chapter. Whether he’s suiting up for a preseason game or spending time back home in Alabama, our performance menswear gives him the freedom to move, the comfort to stay focused, and the style to feel like himself.

Because like Bo, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between looking sharp and feeling comfortable.

We believe in looking good, feeling good, and playing good.
