Sales Support Specialist

Mizzen+Main is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join its Wholesale Team. The position will support the Sales Director with sales and account management activities on a daily basis. While experience in the fashion industry is not required, a proficiency for and love of fashion is a must, along with an unparalleled work ethic to ensure Mizzen+Main continues its aggressive growth trajectory. Reports to Sales Director in Dallas, Texas.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders and specific customer requests
  • Review pending orders to ensure accuracy, timely shipping, and customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain understanding of all products, delivery timelines, and shipping windows
  • Create and process orders, merchandise returns, and monitor accounts receivable
  • Prospect via lead generation, cold calling, and scheduling client meetings
  • Assist sales presentations during trade shows and targeted territory travel
  • Handle back office administrative duties
  • Support ad hoc requests and office management needs


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Experience multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, fluent in retail math
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Experience in retail, sales, or similar field, a plus

Mizzen+Main Account Executive: Golf

The Account Executive will support the VP of Wholesale, responsible for the acquisition and management of wholesale accounts with a focus on the Golf business. While a fashion degree is not required, a proficiency for and love of retail and the golf industry is a must, along with an unparalleled work ethic to ensure Mizzen+Main continues its aggressive growth trajectory. This role presents a tremendous amount of growth potential for those dedicated to building the next great American brand from its earliest days. Reports to VP of Wholesale in Dallas, Texas.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Management of overall golf business; including account management for all current golf wholesale accounts, sales and budget planning, and expansion strategy
  • Prospect via cold calling new leads to generate wholesale accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, understand and manage all aspects of the business
  • Meet and exceed sales and account acquisition goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual basis
  • Responsible for driving the business by identifying and pursuing new wholesale acquisition opportunities
  • Complete and submit electronic and/or written reports of daily and weekly activities, expenses, account changes and wholesale targets
  • Responsible for the management of golf intern and any independent sales representatives to ensure that deadlines and sales goals are met
  • Identify future opportunities for independent rep expansion strategy
  • Focus on elevating and ensuring the brand is represented appropriately within accounts
  • Develop compelling assortments targeted towards each specific account
  • Support the expansion of wholesale accounts through targeted travel and tradeshows


  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience required
  • Degree in communications, marketing, fashion, or similar field
  • Strong sales background and demonstrated success, with emphasis on follow up
  • Hard-working, dedicated and focused on achieving sales goals
  • Experience growing customer base and revenue through account acquisition
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to clients
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work well in a collaborative environment
  • Skilled in all basic platforms (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Travel is required and an aggressive commission structure is provided
